Friends in Edmonton! Join Avi and neighbours for an inspiring and community-centred town hall. Expect appearances from local leaders and organizers, including Eriel Deranger, Stephen Buhler and Sandra Azocar, and opportunities for community-building.
And of course you’ll hear from Avi Lewis about his vision for the future of the NDP. People are working harder than ever, yet the basics — food, rent, childcare, medicine — are out of reach while a handful of corporations rake in record profits. Avi’s campaign for leader is about refusing this rotten deal. It’s about uniting movements for climate justice, Indigenous rights, migrant justice, economic justice, and peace.
This town hall is part of the “All Out for Avi!” Tour — a tour focused on connecting with people across Canada about what matters most to them and how we can work together to fight for a future where the government actually governs for the many, not the money. Come hear about how we are organizing to win!
Bring a neighbour or a friend. Everyone is welcome!
