Friends in Whitehorse, I’m headed your way! Join me on Thursday, February 26 from 6-8pm at Lewis Hall at the Whitehorse United Church for an evening of community and conversation.
Across the territories and from coast to coast to coast, people are working harder than ever but struggling to make ends meet. From Whitehorse to Iqaluit, the basics of a dignified life are kept increasingly out of reach. Meanwhile, a tiny group of corporations price-gouge and rake in record profits, while politicians in Ottawa let them get away with it.
Our campaign is about refusing this rotten deal and proposing solutions that are bold enough to meet this moment: public options for food, housing, phone and internet, head-to-toe healthcare, and a Green New Deal that creates millions of good-paying jobs for the economy of tomorrow.
We’ve already inspired the support of countless new members, donors, and volunteers from every corner of the country. Together, we’re building the biggest tent the NDP has seen: a true party of the 99% with solutions as big as the crises we face.
Bring a neighbour or a friend. Everyone is welcome.
