Friends in Saskatoon! Join Avi Lewis, former President of the National Farmers' Union Nettie Wiebe, former NDP MLA Jennifer Bowes, and other neighbours and friends on Saturday, February 28th from 7-9pm (9-10pm social) for a fun evening of community and conversation at Amigos Cantina.

Across the Prairies and from coast to coast to coast, people are working harder than ever but struggling to make ends meet. From Saskatoon to Halifax, the basics of a dignified life are kept increasingly out of reach by a tiny group of corporations who price gouge while raking in record profits and politicians in Ottawa who let them get away with it.

Avi’s campaign is about refusing this rotten deal and proposing solutions that are bold enough to meet this moment: public options for food, housing, phone and internet, head-to-toe healthcare, and a Green New Deal that creates millions of good-paying jobs for the economy of tomorrow.

The campaign has already inspired the support of countless new members, donations, sold-out crowds, and volunteers from every corner of the country. Together, we’re building the biggest tent the NDP has seen: a true party of the 99% with solutions as big as the crises we face.

Bring a neighbour or a friend. Everyone is welcome.
